The family bought a house built in 1983, which had undergone a light cosmetic renovation.
I worked on the interior and exterior public areas, as well as the clients’ study and primary bedroom.
A defining feature of the project is its unusual architecture: most rooms have irregular, polygonal shapes. Despite this, the space evolved into a contemporary, inviting, soothing, and environmentally aware environment.
The result is a friendly, adaptable home that shifts easily between different daily scenarios. For example, the study was combined with a Japanese-inspired lounge and a dedicated yoga and fitness area. The living room was designed as a screen-free zone, while a separate, intimate cinema lounge was created for film viewing.
